Bad news, Kopparberg Pink Gin is not coming to Ireland anytime soon

Why can’t we have nice things?

The news broke this week that Kopparberg were planning on releasing their very own premium pink gin, and when they did, the world went just a little bit crazy.

For good reason too.

It appeared as though we had found the drink that would take the country by storm for the summer, and various news outlets reported that the drink would in fact be coming to Irish shores.

But unfortunately, this is not the case.

JOE got in contact with Kopparberg to see if the reports were true, but alas, it is not.

When asked, the drinks company replied that they were “afraid it’s not in the pipeline for Ireland at the moment”.

Ah well. At least those three little words at the end imply that it could come here one day.

We can only dream. Just look at it!

Reports suggest that a 70cl bottle will cost £22 (just over €25) in England, if you really are desperate to try it.

We won’t judge you either way.
