Don't get caught out.

Lidl Ireland took to social media on Wednesday night to inform their customers of a scam taking place across the country in the run up to Christmas. The scam, which involves a text message, has been catching people out for the past number of days. It appears to involve a fake competition that people are being informed about via text, addressed from Lidl. Lidl Ireland took to their Twitter account to alert people that they would never send a text to a customer, with regards to a competition or otherwise, and that anything received via text is "most definitely a scam". They urged anyone who has concerns regarding suspicious texts which claim to be sent from Lidl to call their Customer Service team on 1800 201 080. https://twitter.com/lidl_ireland/status/1075459364595646466
