Incredible.

The celebrations in Limerick are still very much in full swing following their incredible win against Galway in Croke Park on Sunday.

The win ended the county’s 45-year dry spell when it comes to hurling All-Ireland finals, leading for quite a serious cause for celebration.

After an estimated 90,000 people took to the team’s homecoming in the Gaelic Grounds, celebrations continued long into the night in pubs across the city and county.

And it wasn’t just Limerick supporters out revelling in the action, the Limerick team were also out in force. The team took to Amber nightclub in House on Howley’s Quay to bask in the musical stylings of Ireland’s greatest import, Mark McCabe.

JJ Hartigan, resident DJ at the club, took to Twitter to share a clip of the night showing the starting fifteen letting loose after well-deserved win.

Limerick native Hartigan shared the video to Twitter, calling it “The most amazing night I’ve ever had as a DJ.”

“It was absolutely incredible to have the ALL-IRELAND WINNING team in our nightclub last night!” the post read.

“Topped off by the legend Mark McCabe tearing the roof off the place! Not sure what time we finished though.”

Following an All-Ireland win, a holiday fund is offered to the winning team so they can enjoy some rest and relaxation following a gruelling few months of training.

But it appears that celebrations kicked off early with the winning team, as Cian Lynch managed to make the impossible possible by treating fans to a champagne shower with a bottle of Buckfast.

That’s Limerick city.
