This week was a huge week for news on the Tallafornia front, and there was only one man to thank for that, our Hero of the Week, Jamie
Given the hubbub and the commotion that was caused by the infamous “prick” picture this week, we had to nominate Jamie, the lad from the picture, for this week’s Hero of the Week.
While there are many reasons to nominate Jamie apart from the photo, we’re sure, everyone knows him for this reason, and with good cause, it was a truly genius move.
To be fair to Philly, no one likes being called names, but he didn’t help his case by exposing his whole life to TV and really acting the maggot on air a good bit, if you live by the sword you die by the sword as they say.
While the picture itself was pretty funny as is, the reaction to the whole incident was even funnier, with Philly calling in the lawyers, who pretty swiftly told him he could probably only sue for declaration of character and even then he was on a hiding to nothing.
Philly’s equally expletive ridden rant after he was told there’d be no comeuppance for Jamie also added another level of hilarity to the tale and it was a case of pot calling the kettle black then when Philly went on to call him every name under the sun.
It was given a great dramatic reading too, which had everyone at JOE towers in stitches.
Safe to say we’ve not got a huge amount of sympathy for anyone who decides to bare all on reality TV for fifteen minutes of fame, and it seems pretty rich to go complaining about something that ended up just getting a load of extra headlines and putting your name in the press, isn’t that why hes on the show in the first place?
We just hope that Jamie had the foresight to use non-permanent marker before writing that on his arm…not something you want to have stuck there when he heads out this weekend for a few scoops.
