Because that’s exactly what Madrí Excepcional, a new collaboration between Molson Coors and Madrid’s La Sagra Brewery, are offering people.
Brewed in the UK, Madrí Excepcional unlocks “El Alma de Madrid” – which in English means “the soul of Madrid” – and serves it to you in a crisp, refreshing beverage full of Spanish flavour and aroma.
As part of the new collaboration, Madrí Excepcional is giving away 2,500 free pints (yes, really) of its modern European-style lager to kickstart your summer celebrations.
“La Sagra is founded on taking the best of the diverse cultures that surround us and applying innovative brewing techniques to create great tasting beers that stand out from the crowd,” Carlos Garcia, Founder of La Sagra Brewery, said.
“These principles are shared by Molson Coors and by working together we’ve created something really special in Madrí Excepcional, a unique fusion of the Chulapo way of life and British brewing heritage.”
The unique branding takes inspiration from the “Chulapo” which historically were a group of people in 19th century Spain known for their flamboyant clothes and vibrancy.
In 2022, it represents the modern people of Madrid and the energy and progressive spirit they exude.
