Man who took ‘train kick selfie’ could be set to make a whopping sum of money

You can make a lot of money by doing strange things on the internet and if you don’t believe us then you just have to ask the guy who was recently kicked in the head by a train driver while taking a selfie.

Granted, uploading a video of yourself getting kicked in the head by a train driver isn’t the strangest way to make money on the internet (that we’ve yet to hear of), but it’s set to land the video’s uploader, 22-year-old Canadian Jared Frank, a whole load of money.

According to the Huffington Post, Frank recently made a deal with the licensing company Jukin Media that could see the Canadian “earning somewhere between $30,000 and $250,00 from ad revenue”.

Frank shot the video while doing a bit of traveling in Machu Picchu, Peru, and it has gained over 24 million YouTube views as of Wednesday, April 23. However, Frank isn’t letting the idea of making some big (and quick) bucks go to his head.

Speaking to the Canadian Press, the 22-year-old said: “People probably already are seeing me in a negative light as the idiot who got kicked in the head, so I don’t want to be the idiot who thought he was going to make millions of dollars and ended up with a $400 paycheque.”

Here’s a look at the video in question…
