Hostel spokesperson and occasional song-singer Mariah Carey is a big fan of the Irish hockey team singing her massive hit 'All I Want For Christmas Is You', with our personal favourite bit being that the sing-song happened mid-heatwave, in early August. Well, there are already Christmas shops opening - four months ahead of the big day - so we guess this is almost timely. The Irish hockey team returned on Monday from a simply unbelievable World Cup campaign, having made it all the way to the final and only losing out to multi-World Cup winners the Netherlands. In case you missed it, here are the scenes from their homecoming, which took place on a completely shut down and filled to the rafters Dame Street in Dublin, as thousands upon thousands of fans welcomed home our latest sports heroes.
