The early publication of Michael Wolff’s explosive book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House has questioned several aspects of Trump’s presidency.

Wolff’s book has attracted a huge amount of attention this past week due to the author’s highly critical view of Donald Trump’s first year as US president, as well as it’s more bizarre claims.

For example, the book leads the reader to believe that Trump likes to be in bed by 6.30pm with a cheeseburger while watching three televisions simultaneously.

Wolff’s book has been heavily criticised by both Trump and Trump’s supporters online, with the official GOP Twitter condemning the publication with its own satirical poster.

Trump, upon hearing of the book’s release, expressed his views on Michael Wolff and political figure Steve Bannon.

Trump posted:

”Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book. He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried when he got fired and begged for his job. Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog by almost everyone. Too bad!”

The tweet, since its conception some eight hours ago at time of writing, has received over 35,000 replies – a solid mix of agreement and disagreement with Trump’s point – but who knew that Mark Hamill himself would take time out of his day to share his two cents.

Hamill replied:

”Congratulations, sir! This dignified, statesman-like tweet is the perfect way to counter the book’s narrative that you’re an impulsive, childish dimwit.”

Hamill has been championed on Twitter ever since. The tweet, which is just five hours old at time of writing, boasts over 13,000 retweets and 48,000 favourites.
