A massive céilí broke out on a train in China and the craic looked ninety

Rory Cashin

St. Patrick’s Day really is something THE ENTIRE WORLD seems to be involved with now, isn’t it?

A group of young musicians from the Cnoc Na Gaoithe group in Clare are currently travelling across China as part of Irish week, to celebrate the lead-up to big day itself.

In the first class carriage from Shanghai to Nanjing, the group broke out the instruments and played up a storm for the rest of the passengers.

The group, who have a mission to promote, preserve and showcase the rich Irish traditions, are currently back in Shanghai are will be performing there for St. Patrick’s Day.

But we’ve only got one question for them… what are the spice bags like there, and are they better than the one’s we have here? It must be the spice bag equivalent of a tourist coming to Ireland and getting a pint in the Guinness Store House.
