PICS: Irish woman’s plea for help with a very NSFW DIY problem has gone viral

Alan Loughnane

Mayo woman

The Mayo woman just wanted some help…

When you seek help for a problem online, you’re automatically opening yourself up to all kinds of bizarre answers and recommendations.

Vicky Gray from Mayo was recently at a hen party and, as is not unusual at some hen parties, some of the accessories that are given out are in the shape of a, well… phallus.

As Vicky herself describes it, she got one of those “squishy dicks” you get at hen parties, and it innocently wound up in the bottom of her bag to be discovered by her five-year-old son, Charlie.

But Charlie began throwing the squishy dick at the wall, which have left a whole load of dick shaped marks around the house and they’re proving very difficult to get off.

Vicky took to Facebook to try and find a solution, posting the question on her own personal page and the ‘Make a house a home:)’ Facebook group.

In the post she wrote:

“Hey everyone, probably the weirdest question you’re going to get asked on here.

“My son got a hold of one of those squishy dicks you get at hen parties (it was one I had gotten. He found it in my bag, thought it was cute because it had a “beard and a bum” ). Anyway, he found a great game of if he threw it at the wall it would stick to it.

“Unfortunately not so great for me as now my walls are covered in these greasy little Dick shaped shadow marks that won’t come off when I wipe. Is there anything I can use to get it off?

“From what I recall from my own childhood, we had a toy made of a similar material (not a squishy dick) and we had great fun throwing it at the ceiling, but even after my mother had painted over it, it still came through. The marks are still on her ceiling to this day!”

While the post on her page received plenty of traction, it was her post in the Facebook group which really took off.

Speaking to JOE, Vicky said: “I’ve now over 5000 likes, 2000 comments and no real solution to #greasyDickshadows.”

She said she’s still looking for a genuine answer, so if anyone has a solution, be sure to let her know.
