To help you "Live Your Best Lunch," McDonald's has organised a series of awesome free experiences across the country.
After a hard morning of work, you deserve to get the most from your lunch break. This summer,
McDonald's wants to give you exactly that, with their fantastic new lunch menu and launch events.
Yep, McDonald’s has just announced its all-new summer menu, which is available now. A number of new permanent items, and their variants, have been added to the menu to give customers more choice. Expect new and improved food choices, with the return of some favourites.
The new and improved chicken salad lets you choose between crispy (265 calories) or grilled (133 calories) chicken with a balsamic dressing. As if that wasn't enough, you can also add bacon!
The Hot Cajun Chicken One is the latest addition to the wrap range. We're talking crispy chicken breast strips/grilled chicken with a Cajun sauce, Pepper Jack cheese, tomato, jalapeño slices and lettuce in a soft, toasted tortilla wrap. Perfect for those looking for a spicy kick to overcome the afternoon slump.
And last but certainly not least, the Smarties McFlurry is back by popular demand onto their permanent McFlurry menu, alongside Maltesers and Oreo. It's not like the iconic dessert needs much of an introduction, but it comes with crushed-up Smarties, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate sauce, so what more do you need to know? Form an orderly queue folks!
To celebrate, McDonald’s is hosting some awesome "Live Your Best Lunch" events in Dublin, Cork, and Galway restaurants next week.

On Tuesday, July 2, get to McDonald’s on
Grafton Street for a
POUND Fitness cardio jam session from 1pm to 2pm. Each class is just 15 minutes, so plenty of time to get the heart rate up and then enjoy your FREE McDonald's nosh.
Cork
On Friday, July 5, head to McDonald’s on
Winthrop Street Pop Up Painting with
Paint Club. From 1pm to 2pm, you'll have the chance to let your inner artiste create a wondrous work or art. Don't worry if it’s not quite a masterpiece, you'll still be rewarded with a delicious McDonald’s lunch...
Galway
On Thursday, July 4, in McDonald's on
Shop Street, it's time for some bangin' ukelele lessons, which sounds pretty class in fairness! The ukelele master class will take 20 minutes and you'll also have plenty of opportunity to try out the all-new menu!
