It's being trialled out in Finland.

It looks delicious but how it tastes could be another thing entirely.

Walking into McDonald’s as a vegetarian probably doesn’t excite you as much as it would for another person.

After all, there’s not much enjoyment out of just having a few French fries, the fries need something to go with them and it looks as though McDonald’s have answered vegetarian’s prayers.

Introducing the new ‘McVegan’ burger which is currently being trialled out at a McDonald’s in Finland.

According to Google translate, (it was the best we could do at short notice), the message on Finland’s official McDonald’s Instagram page reads:

“100% vegan McVegan only €3 available from McDonald’s restaurants tomorrow (4 October) starting at 10:00am.”

It consists of a soy-based patty topped with tomato, salad, pickles and vegan McFeast sauce, sandwiched between a bun.

The burger has a short window of availability – it goes away on 21 November again – and for the time being sadly, it is only available in a town called Tampere in Finland.

However, if it’s popular, who knows the ‘McVegan’ might be rolled out globally.
