If you’re wanting to stay trendy, then this is where to begin.
Fashion is fickle, and also cyclical, and also eternal, and also a medium for artists, and also, and also, and also.
We could go on all day trying to define fashion, but the one thing it definitely is for some? Confusing.
Remember when bootcut jeans were a thing? And then they very much weren’t? And now apparently they might be becoming a thing again? Who can keep up?
Or earlier this week, when we discovered that one of the most hated fashion faux pas of all time is actually about to become trendy? Yikes.
Sometimes we need a little direction, a little push towards the right rack, and to that end we have contacted the men’s fashion buyers from Irish department store Brown Thomas – essentially the people who stock the racks and shelves with what is about to come hugely in demand – and asked them directly: What one item do we need to own this summer?
And their answer:
The bowling / Hawaiian style shirt.
