New healthy food store in Cork are giving away free salads, but you need to act fast

Rory Cashin

It turns you DO make friends with salad!

Healthy eating company Freshly Chopped are celebrating the opening of a new branch by giving away some free lunches to some lucky customers.

Adding to the already impressive location list of Limerick, Waterford, Galway, Cork, Castlebar, Newry and (brilliantly) Cyprus, today they’re opening a new branch at Glasheen Road in Wilton, County Cork.

The new branch at Freshly Chopped Wilton are giving away three different types of salad for free today (Tuesday 21 February), so you can choose from the Dubliner Caesar, the Ham Hock and the Garden Tofu.

However, they’re only free between 12pm and 2pm, you need to be on your toes (and living in the vicinity, obviously) to take full advantage.

However, if you don’t make it in time for that free-stuff window, they’re also giving 50% off all wraps and bowls between 2pm and 5pm.

Brian Lee, co-founder and managing director of Freshly Chopped said: “We’re delighted to be opening our new Freshly Chopped in Wilton as our presence expands in Cork.”

“Eating well is vital for young people and we’re confident our healthy options will go down very well with residents and businesses.”

“It is clear that more and more Irish consumers want affordable healthy food options and that is exactly what our unique Freshly Chopped experience will be providing those living and working near our new Freshly Chopped outlet in Wilton.”
