One Laois lady’s gingerbread party house is top of JOE’s Christmas wish list

Is it too late to write another letter to Santa? Because we want one of these. Now.

What a sweet story…

Is it too late to write another letter to Santa? Because we want one of these. Now.

Christmas is traditionally a time for gorging on pudding, pies and piles and piles of lovely sweets, so when Laois lady and JOE reader Katie Bergin got in touch with us to show off her culinary creativity, we felt we had to share her fancy festive foodstuff with the world.

Share the pictures we mean. Not the food. Because it’s not like Christmas is the season of giving or anything, right?

Katie writes, “my brother Tim and I over the last 12 hours made a two-story gingerbread house (more like a party house really) including 6 people and two bouncers, one guy on the ground floor had too much of a good time and spewed everywhere. We are very proud of our house.”

Ah, nothing says Christmas like a gingerbread man spewing over his gingerbread friends on a gingerbread night out.

Merry Chrisamass everyone.

Big thanks to Katie Bergin for sending in the pics. We’re still waiting on our portion though Katie so go ahead, bake our day…
