One lucky person in Ireland has just woken up €500,000 richer

Plus we know which county the winning ticket was sold in.

Okay, first things first.

Here are the winning numbers for the main Euromillions draw: 2, 15, 40, 43, 46 and the bonus numbers were 3 and 6.

Now, nobody actually won that draw, which would’ve made someone just shy of €28 million richer.

However, there was one lucky Irish winner of the Euromillions plus draw, the numbers of which were: 18, 21, 22, 24 and 36.

Yep, someone in Ireland matched all five of those numbers and has won half a million euro for their troubles.

And the winning ticket was sold in…. OFFALY!
