Paraglider killed after tragic accident in Meath

The incident happened near Gormanston Army Camp, south of Laytown, Co Meath.

A paraglider has been killed in a tragic accident in the Gormanston area of Co Meath.  The man who died was in his early 40s and it’s reported that the incident occurred at 6pm yesterday evening.

It is believed the paraglider came down at Benn Head near the Gormanston army camp.

An air accident investigation has been launched into the incident.
