Parker the Snow Dog has been sworn in as the honorary mayor of a town in Colorado.

The very good boy was sworn in as the Honorary Mayor of Georgetown by Clear Creek County earlier this week.

“It was a packed house Tuesday Night at the Georgetown Community Center for Parker’s Inauguration Ceremony,” Clear Creek County shared on Facebook.

“Police Judge Lynette Kelsey administered the Mayor oath to Parker the Snow Dog.”

The adorable pooch was pictured at his swearing-in ceremony wearing a tie and glasses – you’ve got to dress up for the occasion, after all.

He is also passionate about spending time with Colorado’s disabled community and acts as a therapy dog at Rocky Mountain Village Easterseals camp, where he dishes out a healthy serving of love, hugs, and slobber to the camp’s amazing patrons.
