Aside from being a year that had an intensely political focus, 2016 has also seen a host of hackings aimed at those websites which encourage affairs and cheating. For example, the intimate details of 100,000 Irish people were in jeopardy following the Ashley Madison hacking and more recently, Friend Finder was also subjected to a breach of data security.

One way or another, the truth will always come out but according to recent data from Durex, these are the 10 most adulterous countries in the world.

When compared to the rest of the world, wedding vows aren’t as sacred in Thailand because they’re the most promiscuous with 56% of married couples in the study admitting to infidelity.

Denmark, Italy, Germany and France complete the Top 5.

For a change, isn’t in nice not to see Ireland make the Top 10?

Here are the highest percentage of married adults who have admitted to having an affair,

  2. Denmark – 46%
  3. Italy – 45%
  4. Germany – 45%
  5. France – 43%
  6. Norway – 41%
  7. Belgium – 40%
  8. Spain – 39%
  9. U.K – 36%
  10. Finland – 36%
