Time to roll out the classic ‘no sign of the recession here’ line…

It seems the folks at Nespresso and Brown Thomas are sitting on a pod-shaped gold mine. Figures released today, and published in the Irish Independent, show that in 2013 the Nespresso store in BTs on Grafton Street took in €6million. That’s a lot of money.

The report goes on to say that they are taking three delieveries a week to fill the demand and that a new stand-alone Nespresso store will open on Duke Street, just off Grafton Street, soon to serve customers better.

There is also a branch in BT in Cork.

Of course many Nespresso users buy their capsules online, so we can only imagine just how much Nespresso are coining in from Ireland with their tasty little beverages.
