Do you love a good photobomb as much as the next person? Then you’ll be delighted to hear that ‘photobomb’ was recently named Word of the Year by the folk at Collins English Dictionary.
The 12th edition of the Collins English Dictionary is getting published today and to celebrate the occasion, the fine people at Collins announced that ‘photobomb’ has been named as the dictionary’s Word of the Year.

The dictionary definition of ‘photobomb’, according to Collins Dictionary, is “to intrude into the background of a photograph without the subject’s knowledge.” So without further ado, here’s a look at some of our all-time favourite photobombs that have featured on JOE.
