With everyone up and down the country gearing up for the centenary celebrations, you’ll go a long a way to find a better tribute than this by these Dublin students.
A grand total of 850 pupils from Colaiste Bride in Clondalkin, county Dublin, formed the numbers ‘1916’ for Proclamation Day and the result is extremely impressive.
Ben Daly from Ben Daly Photography, who took the photo, told JOE that he had never seen organisation like it, with the whole setup apparently taking less than five minutes.
Amazing stuff.
