We dearly hope 2016 is the year that this nonsense goes in the bin.
Just when you think you’ve reached the point where things can’t get any more h**ster, along comes the ‘Take-Out Tonic’ from the Opium Rooms in Dublin.
It’s a fine establishment, with myriad drinks to suit all tastes, but the person who came up with the idea of serving a cocktail in a rice box deserves the frowning of a lifetime.
We’d like to share the sentiments of Grace O’Reilly from our sister site Her.ie – we only hope that she sent it back and asked for a pint of Smithwicks in its place.
