It’s better than New York.
Sex and the City is a show about time travelling aliens that arrive in New York and have lots of sex with strangers in-between their cocktails. I’m fairly sure that this description is correct. Truth be told, I’ve frequently blacked out due to boredom during those rare moments when it’s on.
Ok, I’ll be nice. We’re all familiar with the adventures of Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte – during the height of it’s fame SITC was one of the most popular shows in the world and it still maintains a devout following – but it seems that one of the cast members has extremely close ties to Ireland.
Chris Noth who plays ‘Mr Big’ in the show has been tracing his Cavan ancestry for the American version of ‘Who do you Think You Are?’ and he has been spotted around the town.
If anyone needed proof that Cavan truly is the New York of Ireland then here it is. Clearly the relationship between Carrie and Mr Big was inspired by a boozy night out in Baileborough.
