As well as serving one of the BIGGEST breakfasts in Ireland, Murphy’s Law pub in Athlone is now serving a MASSIVE 3lb. beef burger called ‘The Mighty Murph’. You can leave your New Year's health-kick at the door...

If you thought that the Murphy’s Law breakfast platter challenge was big (four eggs, four pieces of rasher, four sausages, four hash browns, four black & four white pieces of pudding, four pieces of fried tomato, a sizeable portion of fried mushrooms, a side bowl of beans and a bowl of chips) then check out what you have to shovel down in order to complete their latest challenge: ‘The Mighty Murph’. 1601149_219742848213313_464904537_n Murphy’s Law explained what exactly the Mighty Murph consists of over on their Facebook page: “THE MIGHTY MURPH.... 3lb. of beef burger/ bacon, covered in melted cheese, topped with a fried egg. All stacked on a sesame bap. “Followed by a bucket of French fries, a bowl of chilli con carne & for the health conscious, finished off with a touch of salad. Same rules apply, eat it unaided in 30 minutes & it's on us, u get the T-shirt.
