What is it about North America and buildings shaped like penises?
First, you had a church in Illinois that was quite obviously shaped like the male reproductive organ, although the architect offered up the line, “It wasn’t meant to be seen from above” in his defence.
Earlier this month, meanwhile, there was the case of an offensive map in a Toronto train station that was removed after commuters in the city realised that it too looked like a penis.
Now, it appears as if there’s a health centre, the Newmarket Health Centre in Ontario, Canada, that doesn’t just look like a penis, but resembles a man spread-eagled on the ground with his lad hanging out.
We understand that might sound ridiculous, but have a look at the photo below and we promise you won’t disagree.
Obviously the shape of the building has no effect on the quality of the service within, but is it just us who would feel a tad uncomfortable being treated here?
