D’oh!
For most Gardai, I’d wager that they’ve seen the same minor incidents occur on Irish roads with such regularity that it’s almost second nature to them.
Administering tickets, performing traffic duty, checking tax discs and dealing with the public is just a small part of their daily routine. Like any other job, you wouldn’t blame certain members of An Garda Síochána for forgetting individual faces or specific incidents but I’ve a feeling that this offence might stay in the mind of these officers in Limerick.
They pulled over a driver for having illegal registration plates and I’m sure that the motorist in question was instantly regretting these bumper stickers.
At least they’re polite.
