PIC: Irish chipper goes above and beyond to grant a sick customer’s cheeky request

Conor Heneghan

Well played.

‘If you don’t ask, you don’t get,’ the old saying goes and one customer of Feeleys Chippy in Belfast decided to test the limits of that theory when placing an order on Friday evening.

So unwell that they were obviously unable to move off the couch, the unnamed customer in question decided to chance his or her arm by including a request for the person delivering the food to stop off at a local Spar to pick up some Benylin Cold and Flu tablets along with an order for food.

In fact, the customer used the ‘add comments’ section of the order to say that they were only making the order in the hope that whoever was delivering the food would be able to fulfil the unexpected and no doubt unprecedented request.

Fair play to the folks at Feeleys; illustrating that ‘tis truly the season of goodwill, they delivered.

Cheers to Gráinne Blair for sending this our way. Got a story for JOE? Hit us up on Facebook or Twitter, send it to our WhatsApp number 087-4001102 or mail [email protected].
