PIC: Irish girl in New Zealand goes to extreme lengths in asking her parents for more money

Paul Moore

The cost of living must be sky high.

If you’ve spent some time travelling abroad then you’ll know that the money in your bank account can disappear faster than Usain Bolt in dire need of the bathroom. All those months spent saving, budgeting and meticulously planning your every step can instantly go out the window after hearing those magic words ‘ah sure, we’ll just go out for one drink’.

Cue those panicked scenes during the morning after when all that money in your bank account has magically transformed itself into a raging headache and €3.76 cents in savings.

Hangover Phone

JOE reader Emma McGrath informed us that her friend is currently travelling through New Zealand and needed to make a withdrawal from the Bank of Mam and Dad. I’ve asked my parents for money before but never in such a creative and extreme way.

Take a look.
