This is how you make the best of a PR blunder.
Audi Galway went viral for the wrong reasons yesterday after their attempt to give away a test drive of a 152 AUDI A3 Cabrio for the August Bank Holiday Weekend went slightly awry.
People who had entered the competition quickly cried foul as they believed the competition had been rigged. Things got ugly. Fast.
Audi Galway were quick to explain what had happened here, and this morning posted an image of May Lydon calling to pick up her test drive (although the comments remain somewhat… dubious… of the whole thing.)
Well, our hats are off to Dan Donohoe, a Leitrim man looking for a bit of work in Galway.
If we were Audi Galway, we’d be giving this lad a call straight away.
