Maybe it’s an admission that boots of the modern age aren’t all that, but Adidas have been creating a lot of waves lately with reported re-releases of some of their most iconic boots of modern times.

The sportswear giant recently revealed a special edition Predator Instinct boot with the tongue from the very first pair of Predators to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their release, while, whisper it, there is even chatter that the much beloved Predator Manias may be due for a re-release later this year.

Before that, however, arguably the most iconic boot of them all, the World Cup, or Copa Mundial has been given a bit of a makeover and will reportedly be released in all black and all white next month.

Pictures of the boots have been doing the rounds on social media in recent days but according to footyheadlines.com – who are normally ahead of the game when it comes to all things gear related – selected retailers will sell the boots for around €200 from early next month onwards.

Chances are these babies are going to be limited edition so if you want to get your hands on a pair you’ll have to act fast, especially if you want to get a place ahead of JOE in the queue.

Want. So much want.
