PIC: Meath mammy takes extreme kitchen measures to stop her husband stealing her treats

Conor Heneghan

Playing it cool.

In every household there are unwritten rules that must be observed by all residents and if it takes putting the foot down every now and again to enforce them, then so be it.

Pictures made their way to us this morning of a kitchen in a house in county Meath over the weekend, where the mother of the house was so sick and tired of her husband stealing her treats from the fridge that she decided extreme measures were necessary.

So extreme, in fact, that she took the liberty of moving an old fridge back into the kitchen, plugging it in and using it to store her own foodstuffs in an effort to prevent such blatant thievery happening again in the future.

As a result, the kitchen now looks like this, with separate “his and hers” fridges forming a rare and unique decorative talking point.

How to explain the presence of two fridges to befuddled visitors? As the anonymous reader who sent the snaps our way explains, it will be simple.

In typically Irish fashion, all she’ll need to say is “That’s the good fridge”.
