PIC: Michael Flatley was a legend once more as he helped out another Cork lady in New York

Eoghan Doherty

A sound man…

You may remember that Michael Flatley was very kind to Cork lady Tara Copplestone after she randomly bumped into him in Central Park in New York. You can read that lovely story by clicking here.

Well, he’s at it again it seems.

JOE reader Clodagh Archer got in touch with the following message…

Hey guys – after seeing the story you had up about the Cork girls meeting Michael Flatley in NY, I had a similar experience last night.

Was down in NY visiting friends, had my head deep in Google maps. To be honest was a bit lost!

Was walking down Broadway when I came to a group of people all shouting and looked up and there was the Lord of the Dance Himself, Michael. He was being ushered into the building and I shouted “Michael I’m from Cork”.

He came over gave me a hug and asked me had I got to see the show yet.

I said no and he offered me two free tickets and said If I wanted to come back stage after he would only love for me to meet everyone!

Anyways just a nice story from a great Irish legend.

Clodagh

So what’s the moral of the story here?

Book a flight to New York, wander around until you spot the Lord of the Dance, shout something Irish-related in his direction, wait for lots of free stuff and selfies.

Simple.

Clodagh is off to see the show when it comes to Boston next month and even managed to get a picture with the man himself.

Fair play.
