Saoirse Ní Scanláin has shared this text message that she received from her mam after a particularly turbulent Easter Vigil.
It involves a flaming barrel, a cathedral filled with smoke, sparks flying everywhere and one poor parishioner suffering a seizure.
As Saoirse tells us, “My dad was in charge of lighting the fire outside the church from which the candle is lit and thing went downhill from there.”
