This is starting to become a favourite hobby of our President.
A JOE reader sent us in this image of yet another Michael D. Higgins photobomb at Áras an Uachtaráin. He just can’t get enough.
He writes: “My dad was heading past the Áras on his bike last Sunday.
“Deciding to stop to take a pic, and lo and behold the President was there. My dad said, “Believe you’re a great man for the selfie,” and the President replied, “I am indeed,” so my dad asked if he could take one with him and he did.
“A few American tourists came by and asked for pics, and the President obliged. When the President left the Americans asked my dad, “Who is he?” and of course my dad replied, “The President of Ireland.”
“They were in complete shock and replied, “you’d never get close to Obama, he has too much security.”
