Pic: Somebody call the Fashion Police, Adidas have released strange new runners covered in ‘mud’

Now you can just pretend that you went to that really cool music festival that everyone is talking about...

So you don’t have a ticket to Electric Picnic? Never fear because with these new muddy shoes by Adidas you can trick people into thinking you were at the music festival the whole time.

We have all been there. You have bought a brand new pristine clean pair of shoes and you have to do the dreaded thing; you have to go outside and risk a smudge of dirt tarnishing your new pride and joy.

We are here to inform you that those days are a thing of the past with Adidas’ latest mud-covered shoe design.

According to the product description, the runner is given a completely new perspective with the addition of ‘mud’ to the sole and base of the shoe… we must be out of touch with style nowadays.

The really bad news is, that if you sadly did not have the funds to go to a music festival, it is unlikely that you will have the spending power to purchase them online for $188. That’s around €140 in Irish money, which is quite a lot to pay for a dirty pair of shoes.

What do you think of this, umm, alternative style of shoe? JOE isn’t sure it’s the kind of footwear you’d rock up to Mass on a Sunday morning, but we are sure that there are a few of you out there who would fancy trying to pull this look off.

To be honest, we are not sure how we feel about the whole dirty/clean shoe…
