Well, you can’t blame a guy for trying…
It seems that barely a day goes by without a Guinness World record being broken but it’s not as easy as you might think. Spare a thought, for example, for the dozens of people in California recently who had their world record attempt spoiled (albeit in hilarious circumstances) by this clumsy newsreader.
Perhaps thinking that the officials had let their standards drop a little, one ambitious go-getter chanced his arm at getting his name into the record books for a few bizarre and not altogether great achievements, but was met only with disappointment when he was sent the following letter shortly afterwards.
