Pic: Remember the ginormous bar tab that 10 Irish people ran up in New York on Paddy’s Day?

I need a dollar, dollar

Joe Harrington

That’s a lot of drink.

While St Patrick’s Day is set to be celebrated all over the world this afternoon, you’d be hard pressed to find a bigger party (outside Temple Bar) than this one that took place in New York last year.

A lot of Irish people head to the Big Apple for the day and this year a gang of ten from Armagh, Roscommon and Leitrim travelled across the Atlantic.

They set up camp at the imaginatively-named The Irish Pub on 7th Avenue where they watched the parade on telly, ate food and had the chats.

Oh, they also had a few drinks, here’s the bar tab they ran up over the course of the day and night.
