PIC: These road signs in Templemore, Co. Tipperary are evidence of some hilariously bad planning

Carl Kinsella

This will hardly end well.

Just like it is impossible to be in two places at once, it is also very difficult to drive at two speeds at once.

At the moment, the people are Templemore are having a hard time obeying some road signs telling them to do exactly that on the road between the town and the train station:

road signs

As you can see, one of the signs is telling drivers to drive at 80km, the other 50km. The only real solution is for everyone to drive at 65km and hope for the best.

DISCLAIMER: We’re not advising anyone to drive at any speed in this situation, we have no idea how fast anyone should drive on this road. That’s exactly the problem.

Thanks to Enya Feehan for sending this one our way. If you’ve seen anything like this on your roads, let us know on Facebook or at [email protected].
