You can just picture it in your head.

You can just picture it in your head.

We don’t envy any person that’s trying to learn a new language as grammatical mistakes and errors in pronunciation are to be expected by anyone.

Even Jose Mourinho must make errors when he’s speaking in a foreign tongue and he knows 7,34 different languages.

Most Irish people will probably remember their French teacher in secondary-school constantly screaming the following at them, “Where’s your accent? It’s pronounced fromage not FROW-MAY-AGE” and so forth.

You have to love those Irish regional dialects.

All nationalities have a certain ‘linguistic charm’ when it comes to pronouncing particular words, for example, Spanish people are more accustomed to using the letter ‘r’ in their vocabulary while us Irish like to elongate our vowels.

Everyone of us have ordered food from a Chinese take-away before but you can’t help but ‘say’ this typo to yourself in a Chinese accent as you read it.

To be fair, our leaving cert French/Spanish and German essays were riddled with more mistakes than this one but it still cracked us up..

Take a look.
