A surprisingly effective method of communication.
Clare County Council have responded to the needs of their people, which were made clear when somebody spray-painted ‘FILL ME’ in big yellow writing next to a country road pothole.
Well, it seems as though the message came through loud and clear, because the the pothole has been filled – and whoever filled it in left a cheeky little response behind.

Hopefully, whoever wrote the initial message will now continue the dialogue, and love will blossom between the disgruntled citizen and the county council worker.
At least now we know that, if we really need something done in our constituencies, we should avoid traditional methods such as writing to our TDs and instead simply spray-paint our demands on a local road.
Hat-tip to Clare FM.
