Talk about a dirty birdy…
The Dirty Bird van travels around festivals and other outdoor events around Wales and the company has been getting quite a lot of attention as of late, but not for the finger lickin’ reasons that you might expect.
According to a few shocked Dirty Bird customers, the Dirty Bird logo looks more like a penis than it does a rooster.
Really? You don’t say…
However, Dirty Bird’s owner Neil Young told Wales Online that the company never intentionally tried to make their logo look like a penis.
“We’ve never really thought about it like that. Our designer created a d and b for ‘dirty bird’ then pushed them together to make a cockerel.” He said, while probably laughing his ass off under his breath.
Mark James, designer of the Dirty Bird logo, said: “We were given the name Dirty Bird as the brief, and started working on ideas. We looked at the initials, DB. Then worked with the lowercase ‘db’ linking them to form the shape of a rooster. It’s graphic representation of a rooster incorporating the initials. It depends on how you look at it.”
