This is like Project X all over again.
If anyone’s having a party nowadays they make a Facebook event page to invite people and keep people updated unless there’s a change of plan or whatever.
A woman in Newcastle called Julie set up a page for her hen party but made the rookie mistake of making the page public.
There were original 20-30 people invited but then random people started messing saying their were going and it escalated to this.
That’s right, over 12,000 people attending and almost 19,000 invited to Julie’s hen party. Hilarious.
Julie couldn’t find a venue that was big enough to host a crowd like that / had a panic attack, so she cancelled the event and deleted the page.
People woke up to the news this morning and were pretty upset.
We bet Julie’s next event will be private. People are gas.
