Be safe on the roads.
Bank Holiday weekends are always a busy period on Ireland’s roads because people want to go home or getaway for some R&R. As always, members of An Garda Síochána were out in force as they did their very best to keep our roads as safe as possible.
The recent tragedies on Irish roads are reflective of a worrying trend and this weekend proved to be a particularly difficult one for any Dublin based Gardai because of the well publicised traffic disruption that was caused in the city.
Elsewhere, there were plenty of motorists that were found to be in breach of the law with offences occurring all over the country.
Here’s a snippet of the most serious ones.
