PICS: Gavin James designed his own beer bottle and very nearly got his face on the label
They put his face on a bottle.
Well, not quite, but Gavin James explained that was his first pitch when he met the bottle's designers to discuss the creation of his bespoke Heineken bottle.
"I told them just to put my face on a bottle because I always wanted my face on a beer bottle," Gavin told JOE.ie.
"I they were considering it which would've been gas but then we settled for a map of places that are special to me, where I've gigged and other stuff too. Hey, it's got lots of red in it so it works!"
The Heinken X Gavin James bottle was unveiled in the Ivy Bar, Dublin where Gavin chatted to JOE editor, Paddy McKenna about his career to date before taking to the stage to perform to the packed out venue.
