The annual Miss Ireland contest is set to take place in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dublin tonight, reminding us all of our genetic inferiority.

32 women will compete for the title of Miss Ireland, and the winner will go on to represent her country at the Miss World contest, hoping to follow in the footsteps of Rosanna Davison (only without the anti-gluten chat).
