Tinder has an estimated 50 million users worldwide and is one of the most popular dating apps in the world for people looking for relationships and other stuff… (we’re talking about sex, if that wasn’t already clear)
It’s proved to be hugely popular in Ireland with recent figures from Ipsos MRBI showing that 200,000 people in Ireland have a Tinder account with 50,000 of them using the app every single day.
Swiping right. Swiping right. Swiping… right.
Other dating app options are out there for you with Bumble and Plenty of Fish both having their loyal share of followers, but for the moment Tinder seems to be the most popular.
We’ve recently had this very clever Tinder account brought to our attention in JOE by Rachel Cooke, and we have to say, we’re amazed at the level of effort that’s been put into this profile.
For anonymity, we’re going to call him Barry, he’s 29 and had a boring day in work.
