It’s going to take more than a tub of elbow grease to shift this…
Update below…
JOE reader and Co. Clare native James was over in New York City doing a bit of Christmas shopping (well for some) when he spotted this car being towed along Third Avenue.
Now, we don’t know the sequence of events that led to this particular scene, but safe to say the Porsche owner in question must have REALLY pissed off their (former) partner.
We just hope the advertising on the side says: “Getting over it is half the battle”…
Now that would be perfect ad placement.
Speaking about the pic James said: “It may have been some sort of expensive viral type ad for a divorce lawyer. That’s only my opinion from what I can make out of the sign at the side…”
We hope so, James, we certainly hope so…
Hate that…
UPDATE: We’ve been had!!!
Twitter user Barry Muldowney has been in touch to let us know it’s actually just a marketing stunt for an American TV show called ‘Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce’.
The blue advertising on the side of the tow truck, which is obscured in the pictures above (that’s our story and we’re sticking to it), features the name of the show along with its air time.
Well played marketing department of Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce… Well played indeed.
Massive thanks to James Collins for sending the pics into us in the first place
