Even the slightest bit afraid of spiders? Look away now.
Sightings of big spiders are something you associate with Australia or places far away from here, but more of them seem to be making a home here or else we’ve just become more aware of them than we used to be.
Not long after evidence made its way to us of a huge spider found in a house in Wexford, JOE reader Fionn Forrester sent us on this video of one he spotted when bleeding out his boiler in Castlebar earlier this week.
Be warned, if you’re easily frightened, it could give you a serious case of the heebie-jeebies.
Fionn also sent us on pictures of spiders he’s found in his boiler shed, spiders he said he would never kill because they are “cool buggers”.
