It’s nearly home.
In the last few weeks and months, you may have heard something about a Boeing 767 making its way to Enniscrone to form the centrepiece of a new glamping village in the Sligo town.
As you can imagine, trying to transport a massive plane to a relatively small town in the west of Ireland isn’t exactly easy, but the man behind Quirky Glamping Village, David McGowan, hasn’t been deterred and his accounts of his experiences on national radio have been very entertaining indeed.
After much trials and tribulations, the Boeing 767 is on the last leg of its journey to Enniscrone ahead of its arrival this weekend and it was spotted numerous times on its way up the west coast on Thursday evening.
